IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme ALCOTRA

Support youth participation in the ALCOTRA region

The Managing Authority of the Programme Interreg France-Italy ALCOTRA is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Managing Authority of the Interreg Programme ALCOTRA with communication activities linked to the promotion of the Alcotra Youth Council.

The ALCOTRA Cross-Border Youth Council promotes cooperation and youth participation among the regions between France and Italy, with the aim of strenghtening interaction, peace and friendship.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:

  • Publishing news and info on the website and social media channels;
  • Recording interviews, drafting articles and editing videos related to the ALCOTRA youth council;
  • Proposing youth tailored communication strategies and campaigns.

Other information:

Financial support of: 27 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).

Location: Lyon, France.

Start and duration: ASAP, for 6 month(s).

Languages*: French (C1), Italian (C1) and English (B2).

*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

  • Financial support

    Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 18 to 32 EUR per day. 

  • Insurance

    IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

  • Contribution to travel costs

    Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
