Support a fair transition to a circular economy
BETA TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Innovative Sustainable Economy Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme: Community4 Innovation - C4I", under the Programme "Interreg Euro - Med".
The objective of the Interreg project "Community4Innovation" is developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities for the uptake of technologies in order to support the transition to a circular economy and consolidate a competitive innovation ecosystem.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- Support in the organisation and participation in the 3rd in-person gathering in Sarajevo;
- Support in the design of white papers' template to facilitate Thematic Working Groups meetings;
- Support the peer-revision of key productions following a specific methodology;
- Support in the organisation of awareness raising events;
- Maintenance of the ISEC Hub and engagement of its members;
- Participate and contribute in the monthly executive group meetings;
- Contribute to complement and co-design MIRO boards;
- Support in the creation and updates of Kumu maps;
- Follow the Mentoring & Twinning programme;
- Contribute in the contextualisation and design of policy papers.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Vic, Spain.
Start and duration: March, for 4/6 month(s).*
Languages*: English (B2), French (A1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

*The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
