IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "AI-BRAIN"
Support brain cancer research through the creation of AI-based biobanks
University Health Authority of Central Friuli is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “AI-BRAIN - Implementare lo studio dei tumori cerebrali mediante biobanking guidato dall'intelligenza artificiale", under the Programme Interreg Italy-Austria.
The objective of the Interreg project "AI-BRAIN" is to leverage advanced artificial intelligence to extract and organize clinical data on gliomas, improving the classification, standardization, and sharing of biobank samples, and ultimately supporting more effective research for better diagnosis and treatment.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Management of digital communication channels (social media and website), including content planning, creation, and publication;
Production of dissemination materials such as newsletters, infographics, and presentations;
Collection and editing of multimedia content (photos, videos, interviews) from project activities;
Updating project website and digital platforms with accurate and timely information;
Support for event communication, including promotional materials and post-event dissemination.
Other information:
Financial support of: 31.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Udine, Italy.
Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 6 months.
Languages*: Italian (B2), English (B2), German (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
