IVY Reporter for the Interreg Italy - Croatia CBC Programme
Support cooperation between Italy and Croatia along the Adriatic Sea.
The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Italy-Croatia CBC Programme is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg Italy - Croatia programme.
The Italy-Croatia CBC Programme supports cooperation between Italy and Croatia along the Adriatic Sea, aiming to improve the quality of life for over 12.4 million citizens through innovative projects and investments. It is managed by the Managing Authority and Joint Secretariat based in Venice.
The volunteer will be carrying out the follow activities:
Supporting day-to-day communication activities: drafting articles and other content for the Programme website and newsletters, creating content for the Programme’s social media channels, and developing engaging insights and visual materials in line with the Programme’s Digital Communication Plan.
Contribute to the creation of video content for Instagram, with a specific focus on engaging young audiences.
Support the Communication Unit in strengthening capitalisation activities by promoting the key results and achievements of Programme projects and developing dedicated communication content to showcase their impact.
Contribute to the organisation of Programme events, with a particular focus on communication, outreach and promotional activities.
The volunteer will be encouraged to bring their own ideas and perspectives to the Programme’s Multichannel Editorial Plan and content production. Their fresh perspective as a young person will be particularly valuable in helping the Programme reach wider audiences, make its communication more accessible and diversify its content, in line with the needs for simplification and diversification highlighted during the 2026 Programme Annual Event, which focused on youth participation. The volunteer will also be encouraged to contribute their ideas and perspectives to the communication, outreach and promotional activities related to the organisation of Programme events.

How we support you
-
Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 21.48 EUR to 92.96 EUR per day.
-
Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience, if needed.
-
Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
-
Visa
Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, residence permit, or any other authorization required to legally enter, reside, and carry out their volunteering activity in the hosting country. Once selected, volunteers are expected to complete all necessary administrative procedures, and submit the required documentation to the relevant authorities. For eligible volunteers relocating between countries participating in the IVY initiative, IVY will reimburse the costs associated with obtaining the required visa, and provide invitation letters and proof of financial means. However, the responsibility for identifying the correct visa, preparing the application, and completing the necessary formalities remains with the volunteer.
