IVY Project Partner for the Interreg NEXT BSB project SG4Y-C
Support participatory and inclusive governance mechanisms in the Black Sea Basin.
Tekirdag Metropolitan Municipality is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “SG4Y-C - Smart Governance for Youth Involvement in Climate Action", under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "SG4Y-C" strengthens mutual trust and cross-border people-to-people cooperation in the Black Sea Basin by empowering youth to actively participate in climate governance. Addressing regional climate vulnerability and weak participatory mechanisms, the project develops a Smart Governance Methodology supported by digital and AI-based tools to enhance municipal capacity and institutionalise youth engagement. A Transnational Youth Council for Climate Action (TYCCA) and an interactive digital platform will facilitate structured dialogue, consultation and collaboration between young people and local authorities.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Contribute to the development and promotion of the project’s digital participation platform.
Support the activities of the Transnational Youth Council for Climate Action (TYCCA).
Assist in creating youth-oriented content, moderating online discussions, gathering feedback from platform users, and supporting communication and social media outreach.
Help organise local workshops, awareness-raising events and campaign activities, facilitate dialogue between young people and municipal representatives, and contribute to reporting and documentation tasks.
Support data collection on youth engagement and provide insights to improve the accessibility and attractiveness of digital participation tools from a youth perspective.
The host organisation is particularly looking for a volunteer interested in climate action, civic participation, territorial cooperation and EU programmes.
