The Joint Secretariat Interreg Central Europe is looking for a volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg Central Europe programme which supports transnational cooperation to make central Europe more resilient to common challenges that know no borders and which cannot be solved alone.
The volunteer will mainly support the communication strategy for the dissemination of the programme and projects results, they will be involved among other in:
- Preparing social media posts (in various content formats) with Canva and other tools;
- Implementing the consultation process on the future of Cohesion policy and Interreg (support organising focus groups, following their discussions and synthetise the results);
- Monitoring and updating contents on the programme website (incl. project microsites);
- Drafting newsletters and direct mailings;
- Organisation of programme events and meetings;
- Management of the network of national contact points;
- Planning communication objectives and activities for 2025.

Financial support of: 35 euros per day
Location: Vienna, Austria
Start and duration: September 2024, for 6 months
Languages*: English (C1/C2).
Basic knowledge of the languages spoken in the programme area (Austrian, Croatian, Czech, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Slovakian and Slovenian) is a plus.
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
