IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "StrategyMedFor"
Support Sustainable Management of Mediterranean Forests.
International Association for Mediterranean Forests is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “StrategyMedFor - Strategy for the Sustainable Development of Mediterranean Forests", under the Interreg Programme "Interreg Euro - MED".
The objective of the Interreg project "StrategyMedFor" is to develop a 10-year Strategy for the Sustainable Management of Mediterranean Forests that will integrate new technologies & Mediterranean-wide data to identify which forests to protect, restore or manage.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- support in social media’s management;
- support with website optimisation and content updates, ensuring coherence, 
 accessibility, and visibility of project outputs;
- support in the organisation of the project’s final event (spring 2026): logistics, 
 communication materials, coordination with partners;
- Develop strategies for involving young people in the communication and dissemination of project results, through social media, interactive content, and
outreach actions.
• Contribute to the redaction and edition of final reports on communication,
engagement, capitalization, and implementation of results.
• Assist in the Carbon Footprint Calculation, supporting the use of the Interreg
Euro-MED online tool and data collection from partners.
Other information:
Financial support of: 33.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Marseille, France.
Start and duration: January 2026, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (B2), French (B1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
Deadline for applications: 14 November.

          Financial supportEvery volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day. 
- 
          InsuranceIVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience. 
- 
          Contribution to travel costsTravel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence.
