IVY Project Partner for the Interreg projects "ALCOTRAITÉ" and "ALCOTRAITÉ 2 TRASPORTI"
Support better governance and transportation in the border regions between Italy and France.
Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT) is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg projects "ALCOTRAITÉ" and "ALCOTRAITÉ 2 TRASPORTI" under the Programme "Interreg France - Italia ALCOTRA".
The objective of the Interreg project "ALCOTRAITÉ" is to address key issues related to the Quirinal Treaty, signed in 2021 between Italy and France, and to identify obstacles to cooperation between cross-border territories.
The objective of the Interreg project "ALCOTRAITÉ 2 TRASPORTI" is to establish long-term coordination of interregional transport to improve cross-border mobility and thereby enhance the quality of life for citizens in the ALCOTRA area.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:
- Preparing communication material on the results of the Alcotraité project;
- Supporting the MOT team in the transition between Alcotraité and Alcotraité 2 Trasporti;
- Supporting the creation and updating of the Alcotraité 2 Trasporti website (writing content, collecting information, etc.);
- Drafting articles on the project for the MOT's website, newsletter, and social media;
- Attending events in the framework of the projects.
Other information:
Financial support of: 33.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Paris, France.
Start and duration: October, for 6 months.
Languages*: French (B2), Italian (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
