IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme "Interreg Italy - Austria"
Support research and innovation, including on green transition issues such as energy efficiency
The Joint Secreteriat of Interreg Italy-Austria is looking for two IVY volunteer!
The volunteers will support the Interreg Programme “Italy - Austria" which aims to support research and innovation, including on green transition issues such as energy efficiency, sustainable and circular sustainable and circular production processes and to protect the environment and biodiversity combined with resilience to climate change;.
The volunteers will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:

- raising awareness about the programme Interreg Italy-Austria through communication activities about the programme itself or its activities, and through showcasing concrete achievements of that programme and, by extension, of the projects financed by that programme;

- supporting the programme Interreg Italy-Austria in communication activities to inform about the opportunities offered by the programme through different modes (for example: creating visuals, sharing the information online, participating to events etc…);

-supporting the organization of events and lessons to be held in the universities and in some high schools located in FVG Region for showing the impacts and the opportunities given by Interreg programmes and projects, especially at cross-boder level;

- contributing in providing support for updating the website EUROPA FVG (https://europa.regione.fvg.it in the section dedicated to the programme Interreg Italy-Austria), for example releasing news and information about Interreg Italy-Austria Programme’s activities and events.
Other information:
Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Trieste, Italy.
Start and duration: January 2025, for 5 months.
Languages*: Italian (C2), English (B2), German (A2),
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
