IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "HumanFactor"
Support placing the Human Factor at the centre of Sustainability Transitions
Oxalis SCOP is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “HumanFactor - Closing the Implementation Gap in the Alps: Putting the Human Factor at the Center of Sustainability Transitions", under the Programme "Interreg Alpine Space".
The objective of the Interreg project "HumanFactor" is to accelerate implementation of existing sustainability strategies (like the Alpine Convention, EUSALP, etc..) by bridging the gap between high-level goals and local action. It aims to empower at least 200 actors with practical skills to better consider the human factor and to design locally-relevant initiatives.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- Support organizing workshops and training courses, by contacting participants, finding venues, reporting on the results of the workshops, etc.;
- Support with the overall communication activities of the project, including the preparation of the communication strategy, draft communication material, share ideas on the communication activities, support with creation and design of the deliverables.
Other information:
Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Aix-les-Bains, France.
Start and duration: February, 2-6 months.
Languages*: English (C1), French (B2), German (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
