IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "ALPIMED+ PILOT"

Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “ALPIMED+ PILOT", under the Interreg Programme "Interreg France-Italy ALCOTRA".
The objective of the Interreg project "ALPIMED+ PILOT" is to strengthen the feeling of cross-border belonging, the visibility of the Mediterranean Alps and consolidate an ascending, innovative and sustainable governance model.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following implementation and the communication activities:
- Communication: contributing to the implementation of the Plan's communication strategy, helping to organise and taking part in major project events (launch, project kick-off event, etc.). Under the supervision of his/her tutor, the volunteer will act as the Metropole's communications liaison with the other project partners. In this role, he or she will contribute to the design of communication materials, their content and their distribution, particularly via the Metropole's social networks and websites. With the support of the Metropole's teams, and in particular the Europe Direct Centre, the volunteer will also help to organise the project's events.
- Coordination between partners: ensuring perfect communication between project partners in order to strengthen collaboration and establish consolidated and effective working relationships. With the support of his/her tutor, the volunteer will help to bring together the various partners in the project by organising and taking part in working meetings between the various members.
- Implementation: the volunteer will participate in the implementation of the activities planned within the project framework, including travel and field interventions with the departments involved in the Metropolitan authority.

Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Nice, France
Start and duration: February, for 6 months.
Languages*: French (C1), Italian (C1), English (B2)
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
