IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "SMALL"
Support the transition towards inclusive sustainable mobility
Brest métropole is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “SMALL - Shared multimodal Mobility for ALL", under the Programme "Interreg North Sea".
The objective of the Interreg project "SMALL" is to accelerate the transition towards inclusive sustainable mobility.
In the months May-June*, the volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- Participating in online meetings among project parterns;
- Start organising the partner meeting that will take place in Brest in October 2025;
- Support organising and delivering some workshops.
In the months July-October*, the volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- Working with local stakeholders to contribute to the project's implementation, including organising data-collection walks with Streetco -a pedestrian GPS app to collect data about the accessibility of the sidewalks- and by participating in the promotion of the tricycle service;
- Contributing to communication activities in order to make the new services better known;
- Benchmarking of the tricycle on demand service, supporting with research and analyses of best practice examples.
Other information:
Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Brest, France.
Start and duration: May, for 2/6 months*.
Languages*: French (B2), English (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

*The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
