IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "ROMTUR"
Support strengthening the role of culture and sustainable tourism
Universitat de Lleida is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “ROMTUR - Innovación digital para poner en valor el patrimonio románico poco conocido e impulsar el desarrollo turístico de zonas poco dinamizadas", under the Interreg Programme "POCTEFA" (Spain-France-Andorra).
The objective of the Interreg project "ROMTUR " is to strengthen the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion, and social innovation.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- Assist with document management: Organizing archival materials, digitizing documents, and contributing to the project's database. This is not routine filing but contributes directly to the accessibility and analysis of essential documentation;
- Support research activities: Compiling bibliographies, summarizing research, and assisting with literature reviews in collaboration with the project researchers and technicians;
- Participate in field trips: Joining field trips to monuments to assist with on-site documentation (photography, observations, measurements, under researcher guidance);
- Contribute to knowledge dissemination: Creating engaging content for social media, writing blog posts, or helping prepare materials for presentations.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Lleida, Spain.
Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 4/6 months.**
Languages*: Spanish (B1), French (B1), English (B1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
**The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
