IVY Reporter for the Macro-Regional Strategy "EUSALP"

EUSALP Technical Support Secretariat is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Macro-regional Strategy “EUSALP".
The European Union Strategy for the Alpine Region EUSALP is an innovative EU framework for multi-level coordination of public policies. The purpose of the Technical Secretariat (TSS) is to support the various operators in assisting in the implementation of EUSALP.
The volunteer will be carrying out communication activities:
- Assisting with the production of the EUSALP newsletter;
- Helping and supporting with communication training;
- Facilitating the events' calendar;
- Updating contact database;
- Engaging with our audience on social networks;
- Helping with "Pitch Your Project" competition;
- Creating content wise linked to EUSALP activities such as the celebration of the 10th anniversary of EUSALP;
- Work on kits for journalists, politicians, young people from the youth council and members of the action groups;
- Work on videos and the collaborative platform;
- Depending on the needs of the presidencies and the Secretariat Team he/she might be mobilised on the communication aspects of Policy engagement events and workshops.
Other information:
Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Nice, France.
Start and duration: April, for 6 month(s)*.
Languages**: English (C1), French (A1), German (A2), Slovenian (A1)
*The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.
**Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
