IVY Reporter for the Macro-Regional Strategy "EUSALP"
Support the implementation of the European Union Strategy for the Alpine Region.
EUSALP Technical Support Secretariat is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Macro-regional Strategy “EUSALP".
The European Union Strategy for the Alpine Region EUSALP is an innovative EU framework for multi-level coordination of public policies. The purpose of the Technical Secretariat (TSS) is to support the various operators in assisting in the implementation of EUSALP.
The volunteer will be involved in the following communication activities:
Support the content producers' team in designing, capturing, editing and coordinating our digital content (newsletters, videos, social media, slide decks, and website assets), namely : - drafting of newsletters; - updated the yearly social networks event calendar; - website regularly updated with news, events, results and key outputs
Contribute to the kits made available to journalists, politicians, young people from the youth council, and members of the action groups.
Support the communication aspects of workshops (Embedding working groups/workshops and Capacity building workshops) Depending on the profile, the volunteer will work on
Support the action group and youth videos and in the creation of a collaborative Intranet for EUSALP community.
Other information:
Financial support of: 33,76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Nice, France.
Start and duration*: Starting in October 2026, for 6 months.
Languages**: English (C1), + Knowledge of German, French, and/or Slovenian is an asset.
**Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 21.48 EUR to 92.96 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience, if needed.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.

Visa
Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, residence permit, or any other authorization required to legally enter, reside, and carry out their volunteering activity in the hosting country. Once selected, volunteers are expected to complete all necessary administrative procedures, and submit the required documentation to the relevant authorities. For eligible volunteers relocating between countries participating in the IVY initiative, IVY will reimburse the costs associated with obtaining the required visa, and provide invitation letters and proof of financial means. However, the responsibility for identifying the correct visa, preparing the application, and completing the necessary formalities remains with the volunteer.
