Support Mediterranean cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, waste, water, and urban agriculture
Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “D4LA - Dialogue4LivingAreas", under the Interreg Programme "Euro-MED".
The objective of the Interreg project "D4LA - Dialogue4LivingAreas" is enhance cooperation and public policies in the Mediterranean by promoting sustainable practices in energy, transport, waste, water, and urban agriculture.
The volunteer will be carrying out implementation activities:
- To better identify public stakeholders, public policies and the potential for coordination;
- To foster exchanges between these different institutional layers and support sharing/transfer of experiences and practices;
- To improve strategic coordination at national, European and Mediterranean levels with key policy players;
- Support strategical communication - identify, reach, inform and mobilise key stakeholders, institutions and policy makers at national and international levels;
- Assisting with drafting communication materials (articles for online publication, social media posts, but also preparation of PowerPoint presentations, Excel sheets and factsheets, depending on the needs);
- Support the transfer and mainstreaming of public initiatives, policies and strategies by preparing information and materials - identification by the partners of mature replicable policy instruments in the areas of Energy Systems, Buildings, Mobility, Environment, Water and Waste.

Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Nice, France.
Start and duration: May, for 6 month(s)*.

*The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.
**Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
