IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme "France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen"
Support cross-border exchanges between the Hauts-de-France and Grand Est regions, Wallonia, West and East Flanders.
The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen".
It is a cross-border cooperation programme. It covers 62,000 km2 and more than 11 million inhabitants!
For the period 2021 - 2027, a budget of €268 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) will be allocated to the programme to support projects addressing the 5 cooperation themes.
The volunteer will be carrying out communication activities:
- Daily monitoring of social networks;
- Preparing posts for social networks in line with the programme's marketing calendar;
- Share relevant information about projects and micro-projects on social networks - Preparing newsletters;
- Organising awareness campaigns;
- Preparing meetings of the "Communication" Working Group;
- Take part in day-to-day communication tasks;
- Answer by e-mail to questions from project operators;
- Helping to organise and prepare the programme's annual event;
- Attend / launch events for projects and micro-projects.
Other information:
Financial support of: 37 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Mons, Belgium.
Start and duration: April, for 3 month(s)*.
Languages**: French (C2), Dutch (B2)
*The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.
**Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
