IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "PITER+ GRAIES ClimaLab - PCC"
Support reducing the vulnerability of natural, socio-economic and environmental systems in the region.
Metropolitan city of Turin is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “PITER+ GRAIES ClimaLab - PCC", under the Programme "Interreg Alcotra".
The objective of the Interreg project "PITER+ GRAIES ClimaLab - PCC" is to strengthen the area's transitional capacity in response to the challenges of climate change and to reduce the vulnerability of the cross-border area's natural and socio-economic resources and systems.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:
A. Support for the organization of the project’s launch event (June 4-5, 2025)

• Assist in preparing event materials (presentations, brochures, promotional content).
• Contribute to defining the event agenda in coordination with project partners.
• Facilitate communication between the 11 Italian and French partners.
• Support logistical arrangements (venue coordination, invitations, technical setup).
• Help manage event registrations and assist participants.

B. Participation in governance and partnership activities
• Attend and actively participate in partnership meetings.
• Take notes and prepare meeting summaries for internal and external communication.
• Facilitate exchanges between project stakeholders.

C. Communication and dissemination activities
• Prepare drafts and send emails to project partners and stakeholders.
• Update the project’s website and social media with relevant contents.
• Support the creation and distribution of newsletters and outreach materials.
• Assist in collecting and sharing success stories and best practices.

D. Monitoring and capitalization of project activities
• Contribute to documenting key project outcomes.
• Help identify best practices that can be replicated in other contexts.
• Assist in preparing reports or presentations summarizing project achievements.

E. Intercultural exchange and European cooperation
• Act as a bridge between different stakeholders, fostering collaboration.
• Engage with local communities and organizations to promote Interreg’s values.
• Develop insights into cross-border cooperation dynamics and European policies.

F. Personal development and learning opportunities
• Gain hands-on experience in international project management.
• Develop skills in teamwork, intercultural communication, and event planning.
• Learn about European Territorial Cooperation and its impact on local communities.
Other information:
Financial support of: 32 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Turin, Italy.
Start and duration: April, for 3/6 months.*
Languages**: Italian (C2), French (C1), English (B2).
*The termination date of the volunteering agreement depends on the conclusion of the IVY initiative, currently set for 30 June 2025. If the IVY initiative is extended, the volunteering mission may continue for a maximum total duration of six months.
**Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
