EGCT EUROREGION AQUITAINE EUSKADI NAVARRE is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “ AIRE FONCTIONNELLE OUEST/ AREA FUNCIONAL OESTE / AFOMEF", under the Interreg Programme "POCTEFA (Spain-France-Andorra)".
The objective of the Interreg project "AFOMEF" is promoting the integrated and sustainable development of urban, rural and coastal areas.
The volunteer will be carrying out these types of activities:
- Communication support: Assisting with social media, newsletters, website content, and visibility material;
- Event organization: Helping prepare and promote events such as workshops, webinars, and cross-border meetings, etc;
- Community engagement: Supporting interaction with local stakeholders and citizens to foster participation and awareness;
- Project assistance: Participating in meetings and helping with the material needed for those like: presentations or preparing documents for the meeting.
Other information:
Financial support of: 33.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Hendaye, France.
Start and duration: start from September, for 6 month(s).
Languages*: French (C2), Spanish (C1), English (B2), Basque (A2)
Deadline for applications: 24 July

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
