IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "I-ReWater"
Support the management of water resources in agriculture considering environmental aspects.
University of Santiago de Compostela - Campus Terra is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “I-ReWater / Sustainable management of water resources in irrigated agriculture in the SUDOE space", under the Interreg Programme "Interreg SUDOE".
The objective of the Interreg project "I-ReWater" is to improve the management of water resources in agriculture considering environmental aspects.
The volunteer will be carrying out those types of activities.
- Promoting the events;
- Design activities for the events;
- Preparing promotional materials, providing their perspective;
- Assisting event organizers;
- Contacting the young population surrounding the pilot actions, using a language of 'equals';
- Event structuring, event rooms, logistics and promotional materials;
- Development of promotional materials;
- Assisting event organizers throughout the event;
- Development of parallel event where young people can get involved through the activity(ies) proposed by the volunteer.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29,00 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Lugo, Spain.
Start and duration: January, for 6 month(s).
Languages*: English (B2), Spanish (B2)
Deadline for applications: 24 July

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
