IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "CEMTex"
Support better policies and solutions for circular medical textiles and stronger regional reuse.
GALICIAN HEALTH KNOWLEDGE AGENCY is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “CEMTex / Closing the loop on Circular Medical Textiles for the transition to a Circular Economy", under the Interreg Programme "INTERREG EUROPE".
The objective of the Interreg project "CEMTex" is to identify the many bottlenecks in both public procurement frameworks on the demand-side as well as the logistical and compliance issues on the supply side and to provide solutions and best practices to help build better policy instruments that can favour both the production use and re-use of circular medical textiles and boost regional value chains and the circular economy in general.
The volunteer will be carrying out those types of activities:
- Participation in the organization of workshops and events;
- Collaboration in the desing of promotional posters for the different project events;
- Helping in the designing of posters, publications, posts, notices;
- Assistance in the writing of reports, summaries, briefings, press releases;
- Collaborating in the management of dissemination activities and events, through different means, including social networks;
- Compiling information, preparing and filing documentation, taking notes, helping with the scheduling and logistics;
- Participate in meetings and awareness-raising events on the circular economy and its impact on the planet;
- Support the search for information and promotional materials on the circular economy.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29,00 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Start and duration: Starting in August, for 6 months.
Languages*: Spanish (C1), English (C1)

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
