IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme "URBACT"
Support cooperation and communication among cities.
The Joint Secretariat of Interreg URBACT is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “URBACT", an exchange and know-how programme for European cities. It supports cities to work together in networks and to develop practical and sustainable solutions to urban challenges that they share.
URBACT supports the cities with practical tools and offers them experts who assist in planning and implementing their actions. It also facilitates sharing knowledge and good practices with other cities all over Europe.
The volunteer will support the general communication activities of the programme by:
Support with the organisation of the URBACT City Festival that will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 28 to 30 September 2026;
Support with the organisation of other smaller events like the EU City Lab on housing and the European Week of Regions and Cities, in October 2026;
Support the communication activities of the programme in general (write articles, news and posts for online and offline communication media, interviews with stakeholders, support story-telling, help in the organisation of events and conferences);
Support URBACTS's team in reporting on concrete achievements of the URBACT programme;
Get Involved in the works for URBACT V and help with youth-related activities for the programme.
Other information:
Financial support of: 33,76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Paris, France.
Start and duration: Starting in June, for 6 months.
Deadline for applications: 7 June
Languages*: English (C1) and French (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
