IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme "URBACT"
Support cities to work together in networks and to develop practical and sustainable solutions to urban challenges.
Agence Nationale de la Cohésion des Territoires (ANCT) is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “URBACT".
URBACT is an exchange and know-how programme for European cities. It supports cities to work together in networks and to develop practical and sustainable solutions to urban challenges that they share.
To this end, URBACT is investing in people. It is building skills of local stakeholders to design and implement integrated policies and actions.
URBACT projects are based on participation and co-creation. They offer a safe space to discuss, exchange and test new ideas. The cities themselves can choose topics that they want to work on together.
URBACT supports the cities with practical tools and offers them experts who assist in planning and implementing their actions. It also facilitates sharing knowledge and good practices with other cities all over Europe.
URBACT is one of the four Inter-regional European Territorial Cooperation Programmes, along with ESPON, INTERREG Europe and INTERACT.
For more information, see www.urbact.eu.
