IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "Central Mountains"
Support strengthening and improving governance models in the Alpine-Carpathian mountain areas of Central Europe.
Eurac research is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Central Mountains", under the Programme "Interreg Central Europe".
The objective of the Interreg project "Central Mountains" is to achieve a long-lasting, sustainable cooperation across borders in mountain areas through improved governance structures and processes that are critical for strengthening regional development and cohesion beyond borders.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- assist the project team in drafting official documents related to the planned activities;
- support the team in organizing events and workshops with stakeholders;
- participate in internal meetings and contribute to both internal and external communication activities.
- make a concrete contribution to the development of activities by sharing perspective and presenting ideas and proposals that can enhance the current approach.
Other information:
Financial support of: 31,76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Bolzano, Italy.
Start and duration: October, for 5/6 months.
Languages*: English (C1), German (A2), Italian (A2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
