IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "LATI"
Support accessibility of cross-border knowldge on spatial development.
University of the Greater Region – UniGR is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “LATI", under the Interreg Greater Region Programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "Laboratory for Territorial Intelligence - LATI" is to enable citie, municipalities and regions in the Greater Region to develop sustainable solutions to common challenges – such as dealing with climate change, achieving the goal of net zero land consumption, or designing transport-oriented living and working environments. Interreg LATI supports spatial planning stakeholders in co-constructively developing and making accessible cross-border knowledge on spatial development.
The volunteer will be carrying out communication and dissemination activities:
- Writing articles in FR, DE and EN;
- Producing digital communication materials, including taking and editing videos, creating graphics, and assisting in the management of social media channels;
- Event participation and organization;
- Working alongside other IVYs (e.g., from the University of Luxembourg) on joint activities, fostering cross-border teamwork and shared learning.
Other information:
Financial support of: 37.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Saarbrücken, Germany.
Start and duration: from October/November, for 3 to 6 month(s).
Languages*: German (C1), French (C1) and English (C1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
