IVY Reporter for the Programme "Interreg NEXT MED"
Support transnational cooperation across the Mediterranean.
Region of Valencia - Branch office Western Mediterranean is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Programme “Interreg NEXT MED", Branch Office for the Western Mediterranean (Valencia, Spain), which aims to contribute to smart, sustainable, fair development for all across the Mediterranean basin by supporting balanced, long-lasting, far-reaching cooperation and multilevel governance. The programme mission is to finance cooperation projects that address joint socio-economic, environmental and governance challenges at Mediterranean level such as the uptake of advanced technologies, competitiveness of SMEs and job creation, energy efficiency, sustainable water management, climate change adaptation, transition to a circular and resource efficient economy, education and training, health care, etc.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- support Programme’s communication and information activities, helping to inform potential applicants and partners about our calls for proposals, events, and results;
- support the communication team and project officers in preparing news items, social media posts, newsletters, and other materials showcasing project achievements and Programme activities;
- support in updating the website, creating visual or written content, and contributing to outreach events or online campaigns.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Valencia, Spain.
Start and duration: November, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (C1), knowledge of French and/or Arabic language is a plus.
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
