IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "REGENERA4MED"
Support building climate resilience through sustainable tourism.
B. Link Barcelona Strategic Projects is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “REGENERA4MED - Towards a Mediterranean model of Regenerative Tourism as Climate Change adaptation and risk prevention", under the Programme "Interreg Euro-MED".
The objective of the Interreg project "REGENERA4MED" is to reformulate tourism models in the Mediterranean to become an engine creating positive social and environmental value, thus contributing to climate change adaptation and risk prevention.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
- Contributing to the design and implementation of the elicitation programme with local actors, MSMEs and territorial stakeholders;
- Supporting the preparation of participatory sessions, interviews, and workshops, and assisting in collecting and organising stakeholders’ inputs;
- Assisting in the mapping of synergies and opportunities for cross-fertilisation with other European and non-European initiatives and projects;
- Supporting the coordination of the Advisory Board, in particular organisation of AB meetings;
- Supporting replication activities with other regions and territories, particularly in Mediterranean countries, by gathering practices and preparing materials for exchange;
- Contributing to mainstreaming actions by preparing policy briefs, summaries and materials that facilitate dialogue with decision-makers;
- Assisting in the creation of communication materials (articles, social media posts, newsletters) to increase project visibility;
- Supporting the organisation of local communication activities and events to raise awareness about regenerative tourism;
- Helping monitor communication channels and ensuring that the project’s results are presented in an engaging and accessible way.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Barcelona, Spain.
Start and duration: November, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (B2), Spanish (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
