IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "INCORE-MED"
Support Inclusive Coastal Resilience in the Euro-Med.
ECO-UNION association is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “INCORE-MED - Inclusive Coastal Resilience in the Euro-Med", under the Programme Interreg Euro-MED.
The objective of the Interreg project "INCORE-MED" is to strengthen the protection, sustainable management and social valorisation of natural and cultural heritage across Mediterranean coastal territories.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Supporting the preparation and dissemination of communication and outreach materials related to project activities and results.
Assisting in the organisation and follow-up of meetings, workshops and project events at local and transnational level.
Contributing to the animation and content development of collaborative platforms such as the INCORE-MED and Nature Heritage Community.
Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, including interaction with project partners, local actors and civil society organisations.
Participating in internal coordination meetings to gain an understanding of project management, Territorial Cooperation and Interreg processes.
Engaging in learning-oriented activities, observation and reflection, and proposing creative ideas to strengthen project visibility and outreach, under supervision.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Barcelona, Spain.
Start and duration: start between February and July, for 6 month(s).
Deadline for applications: 2nd February
Languages*: English (B2), Spanish (B2), knowledge of Catalan is a plus
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
