IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "NETE"
Support cross-border cooperation between Germany and Denmark.
Region Sønderjylland-Schleswig is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “NETE - NEtværk / Netzwerke Transversal / Empowering", under the Programme "Interreg Deutschland-Danmark".
The objective of the Interreg project "NETE" is to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the region by:
1. Involving associations and promoting multidisciplinary approaches
2. Offer resources and support:- Information and networking initiatives.
3. Strengthen administrative capacity.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Prepare, publicize and participate in a Danish-German inspiration trip for government employees with a focus on democracy and citizenship;
Create and post content on social media (SoMe).
Write invitations and helping with text production about the project's various sub-activities;
Support in networking activities, assist with the preparation of meetings and networking events, support the practical implementation of networking activities targeting citizens in both Denmark and Germany.
Other information:
Financial support of: 62.60 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Padborg, Denmark.
Start and duration: September 2026, for 4 months.
Deadline 15 February 2026
Languages*: German (C2), English (C1), Danish (A1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
