Cetacea Foundation is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “UNDERSEA - UNDerwatER Soundscape bEyond Ais", under the Programme "Interreg Italy-Croatia ".
The objective of the Interreg project "UNDERSEA" is to enhance sustainable growth in the Adriatic Sea region by improving the cross-border monitoring, evaluation, and mitigation of human-generated underwater noise pollution.
The volunteer will be supporting the project with the following tasks and activities:
organizing the final event (conference, Different waves performance in Rimini, Art exhibition)
organizing a Different Waves performance in Puglia and other projects events
the project's social media updating
creating graphics for social media
Other information:
Financial support of: 31.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Riccione, Italy.
Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 5 month(s).
Deadline for applications: 1st March.
Languages*: English (B2), Italian (A2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
