IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "NUTSHELL@CE"
Support transport policy and planning in rural areas.
The Citizens´ Association No Gravity is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “StreNgthening pUblic TranSport to enHance accEssibility in ruraL centraL Europe - NUTSHELL@CE", under the Interreg Programme "Central Europe".
The objective of the Interreg project "NUTSHELL@CE" aims to strengthen public transport to ensure connectivity of rural and peripheral regions to TEN-T networks and nodes to make it more selected mobility option over cars with help of geographical data and through key measures of multimodal access to PT, a timetable systematization, and enlarging coverage and filling missing links, supported by a vision co-creation process among local communities and stakeholders.
The volunteer will be carrying out communication and dissemination activities:
Collection of PR documents, pictures and data from partners;
Preparation of posts for social media (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn): Sharing information on relevant transport information on social media, gathering latest information from social networks and internet pages;
Monitoring of relevant information from other entities on social networks;
Networking with other projects/initiatives;
Contribute to project events on national and international basis;
Conduct (video) interview with the stakeholders and wide public.
Other information:
Financial support of: 28.08 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia.
Start and duration: Starting in April, for 6 months.
Deadline for application: 1st March
Languages*: English (C1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
