IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "SUSTAIN-2"
Support the adoption and deployment of sustainable practices by tourism operators.
Kentaş is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “SUSTAIN-2", under the Interreg "Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin" programme.
The objective of the Interreg project " A Sustainability Model for Tourism (F&B) - SUSTAIN-2" aims to contribute to a more competitive and smart Black Sea region by supporting the blue economy and especially tourism by promoting the Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) sustainability to tourism stakeholders, especially in Food & Beverage(F&B) sector, in the project area and create the conditions for, and facilitate the adoption and deployment of sustainable practices by the entire spectrum of the operators, even small ones, using Artificial Intelligence and ensuring lasting effects.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Support the review and quality control of digital media materials, as well as the assessment and categorisation of notes from stakeholder meetings and consultations;
Assist in reviewing draft project promotional campaign materials, ensuring that documentation is properly organised and complete. Where revisions or improvements are needed, the volunteer will communicate observations and suggestions to the project team and relevant partners, contributing to the overall quality of project outputs;
Create content for the project website, social media channels and infographics by checking compliance with Interreg and EU visibility requirements, including the correct use of logos, visibility statements, and the accuracy of written content;
Assist in preparing structured input requests to partners for social media sharing and in reviewing updates before publication;
Participating in training and events organised with stakeholders. This will allow direct interaction with project beneficiaries and enable the volunteer to clearly observe and understand the project’s impact in practice.

Financial support of: 28.08 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Istanbul, Türkiye
Start and duration: April, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (C1) and French (B1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
