IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "SUSDEST-NET"
Support sustainable practices in the Black Sea Bassin.
Kentaş is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “SUSDEST-NET", under the Interreg "Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin" programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "Sustainable Destinations Black Sea Network - SUSDEST-NET" aims to promote ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) sustainability principles in five tourism destinations by establishing Destination Management Committees (DMCs) to transform these areas into sustainable, competitive and attractive destinations that support the blue economy and protect natural and cultural heritage.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Support with reviewing and quality-checking translated materials, promotional content, infographics, and documentation;
Support monitoring the project website and social media channels for compliance with Interreg and EU visibility requirements and assist in preparing and reviewing partner contributions before publication;
Actively take part in creating engaging content for the project’s social media channels and website, including producing videos and other creative promotional materials, contributing to communication and visual design, and exploring heritage tourism topics through research and storytelling-based content;
Close collaboration with the team and participation in trainings and stakeholder events;
Contribute to the “Sustainable Destination Strategy” and “Destination Sustainability Plan” for Üsküdar.

Financial support of: 28.08 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Istanbul, Türkiye
Start and duration: October, for 6 months.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
