Support the collaboration portal to connect society-academia in the Northern Periphery and Arctic regions.
Nord Universitet is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Nordic Bridge", under the Interreg "Northern Periphery and Arctic - NPA" programme
The objective of the Interreg project "Nordic Bridge" addresses challenges in the NPA region, such as brain drain, limited collaboration between academia and society, and under utilized research capacities. The project will create a challenge-driven digital portal for collaborative projects to drive sustainability and innovation.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Participate in project meetings, co-creation workshops, and project discussions related to the development of the Nordic Bridge digital portal;
Review, reflect, and help in the evaluations on feedback gathered from workshops, co-creation sessions, and other project events;
Support in the portal UX-related service design activities: such as collecting user requirements, documenting functional needs, and preparing simple visual summaries;
Collect informal feedback by getting engaged with student unions, youth organisations, and non-academic stakeholders connected to the project;
Contribute to building community engagement around the Nordic Bridge concept.
Other information:
Financial support of: 41.12 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Bodø, Norway
Start and duration: April, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (B2)

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
