IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "LASPEH 2.0"
Support biodiversity resilience across the South Adriatic.
Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Enhancing the protection of priority habitats and species in protected areas of the South Adriatic - LASPEH 2.0", under the Interreg "IPA South Adriatic" programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "LASPEH 2.0" address the increasing vulnerability of ecosystems, where habitats and species are increasingly affected by human pressures and the impacts of climate change and aims to enhance biodiversity resilience across the South Adriatic.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Support communication and visibility activities related to project implementation, including preparation of dissemination material, social media content;
Assist in stakeholder engagement and cooperation with local communities, institutions and project partners involved in territorial cooperation actions;
Provide logistical and organisational support during workshops, meetings, field visits and project-related events implemented within protected areas;
Support data collection and basic monitoring activities related to sustainable territorial development and environmental protection actions envisaged by the project;
Assist the project team in drafting summaries, presentations and internal coordination materials linked to project deliverables.
Other information:
Financial support of: 35.68 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Podgorica, Montenegro
Start and duration: Starting in May, for 3 months.
Deadline for application: 19 April
Languages*: English (B1)

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
