IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "CATALIS"
Support developing low-carbon solutions in the Northern Periphery and Arctic region.
Lulea University of Technology is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “CATALIS - Cross-program Adoption and Transfer of Arctic Low-carbon Ice-resilient Solutions", under the Programme Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic (Interreg NPA).
The objective of the Interreg project "CATALIS" is to strengthen the capacity of public authorities, research institutions, and infrastructure stakeholders across the NPA region to better plan for and manage durable, low-carbon concrete solutions for coastal and offshore environments in Arctic and Atlantic conditions.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:
support the project's dissemination and outreach efforts by creating engaging digital content, including social media posts, visuals, and short videos, to communicate Arctic sustainability challenges to young and non-specialist audiences;
assist in transforming technical research findings into accessible materials, contribute to the documentation of the observational pilot;
help organise and facilitate transnational workshops and meetings, gaining direct experience of international research collaboration.
Other information:
Financial support of: 39.20 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Luleå, Sweden.
Start and duration: September, for 6 month(s).
Languages*: English (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
