IVY Reporter for the Programme "Interreg IPA Bulgaria–North Macedonia"
Support cooperation between Bulgaria and North-Macedonia.
Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Programme “Interreg IPA Bulgaria–North Macedonia".
This is a cross-border cooperation programme aimed at strengthening territorial cohesion between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. The programme focuses on enhancing environmental protection, promoting sustainable tourism, and improving regional connectivity through strategic infrastructure project. Key areas of interventions include the development of green infrastructure, support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the establishment of new border crossing points to facilitate economic growth and mobility.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:
support the communication team and project officers in preparing news items, social media posts, newsletters, and other materials showcasing project achievements and Programme activities;
support in updating the website, creating visual or written content, and contributing to outreach events or online campaigns;
promote the projects, summarize and share updates to stakeholders and (potential) project partners;
compile success stories, capture photos, or record video testimonials;
conduct and process surveys, interviews, or focus group discussions and draw statistical summaries;
assist in organising Information days and other promotional events on programme level.
Other information:
Financial support of: 34.60 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Kyustendil, Bulgaria.
Start and duration: September, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
