IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "COMMONAIR"
Support smart adaptation to climate change in the Alpine Region.
Politecnico di Torino (Polytechnic of Turin) is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “COMMONAIR - COMmon Measurements ONsite in the AlpIne Region", under the Programme "Interreg Alpine Space".
The objective of the Interreg project "COMMONAIR" is to foster informed discussions, smarter policies, and stronger adaptation to climate challenges. Through collaboration across regions and countries, COMMONAIR also seeks to facilitate the exchange of best practices, with a view to enhancing climate resilience in the Alps.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Assisting the project team in liaising with international project partners to collect updates, stories, and data for reporting and promotional purposes;
Supporting the management of the project’s social media platforms by suggesting creative content and engaging posts to reach a wider and more diverse audience;
Collaborating with partners beyond the Lead Partner to help disseminate project results and information within their local communities and premises;
Assisting the Lead Partner in the development of project deliverables by helping to organize, edit, and integrate information from various partners into coherent documents;
Supporting the organization and implementation of local events and public activities in Turin, working closely with the Lead Partner and the City of Turin to enhance public engagement;
Contributing with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas during team meetings to improve the project's overall communication strategy and visual identity.
Other information:
Financial support of: 31.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Turin, Italy.
Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (C1), Italian (B2).
Deadline for applications: 23 April.
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
