IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "ASCEND"
Support Adventure Toursim SMEs competitiveness.
Azienda Autonoma di Soggiorno e Turismo (AAST) is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Boosting Adventure Tourism SMEs Competitiveness and Economic Development - ASCEND", under the Interreg IPA South Adriatic programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "ASCEND" is to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs by supporting the enhancement of existing Adventure Tourism products and the development of new ones through a sub-grant scheme, fostering innovation with targeted training and capacity-building..
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Assist with the identification of a best practices in the Adventure Tourism sector;
Contribute to the best practice catalogue highlighting innovation capabilities for SMEs in the Adventure Tourism Sector;
Assist with the logistics for the participation of the team to the international conference on Adventure Tourism;
Support the organization of local workshop;
Assist with the organization of training activities to help SMEs enhance their service offerings and sustainability;
Contribute creation of a media package
Other information:
Financial support of: 31.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Termoli, Italy.
Start and duration: June, for 6 months.
Deadline for application: 10 May.
Languages*: Italian (C1) and English (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
