Ministry of Economy and Planning is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Programmes Interreg NEXT MED and Interreg Italy-Tunisia.
The Programme Interreg NEXT MED aims to support cooperation across the Mediterranean Regions in Europe and beyond; the Ministry of Economy and Planning supports the programme as National Authority
The Programme Interreg Italy-Tunisia supports cross-border cooperation between Sicily and Tunisia to address common challenges and capitalize on shared opportunities in the Mediterranean region. The Ministry of Economy and Planning supports the programme as National Contact Point.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Participate in the information campaigns of Interreg in Tunisia;
Support the Interreg partners in Tunisia in the implementation of their communication plan;
Support the National Authority in information and communication activities;
Liaise with the other structures of the programmes.
Other information:
Financial support of: 35.68 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Tunis, Tunisia.
Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 6 months.
Languages*: Arabic (C2), French (C2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
