IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "PLAST4H2"
Support tackle plastic pollution in the Atlantic Area.
University of Cantabria is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “PLAST4H2 - Plastic circularity through an efficient detection, collection, and valorisation into Hydrogen and value-added products", under the Programme Interreg Atlantic Area.
The objective of the Interreg project "PLAST4H2" is to establish a transnational network to foster the fight against pollution caused by the indiscriminate littering of plastics in the Atlantic area, followed by the valorisation of these into high-value-added products like hydrogen.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Helping organise and document cross-border events and partner meetings;
Creating and publishing social media content, newsletters, short videos and press releases;
Supporting citizen-engagement activities and public events to raise awareness of the project results;
Contributing creative, youth-oriented ideas and materials (reels, infographics, blog posts)Updating the project website and social media channels.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29.00 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Santander, Spain.
Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (B2)
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
