IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "GD-GR"
Support the implementation of the European Green Deal in the Greater Region.
Institute for Future Energy and Material Flow Systems - IZES gGmbH is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “GD-GR - Green Deal in Greater Region", under the Programme "Interreg Greater Region".
The objective of the Interreg project "GD-GR" is to support the energy transition and implementation of the European Green Deal through cross-border cooperation, education and public awareness in the Greater Region.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Assist in preparing and promoting cross-border workshops and public events;
Contribute to the creation of communication materials (articles, short reports, interviews, social media content);
Support the documentation of project activities (photos, short videos, testimonials);
Help highlight the results and impact of the project;
Contribute to reporting on project milestones and citizen participation..
Other information:
Financial support of: 37.36 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Saarbrücken, Germany.
Start and duration: July, for 6 months.
Languages*: German (C1), French (B2), English (B2).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
