Support Nature based solutions for climate resilient Mediterranean cities
PROMEA - The Hellenic Society for the Promotion of Research and Development Methodologies is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “NBS4MED - Nature based solutions for climate resilient Mediterranean cities", under the Programme "Interreg NEXT MED".
The objective of the Interreg project "NBS4MED " is to promote nature-based solutions (NBS) as a practical, cost-effective way to strengthen urban resilience.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Assisting in the development of communication and outreach materials including but not limited to newsletters, social media posts, presentations, and website content related to the project activities and results;
Participating in workshops, stakeholder meetings, and transnational knowledge-sharing activities, including preparation of agendas, note-taking, and capturing audio-visual material to support project communication and dissemination efforts;
Assisting in data collection and background research including the review of relevant literature and policy documents, and the identification of good practices, as needed for the development of project deliverables;
Contribution in the development of social media strategy for engaging youth audiences, proposing content ideas and engagement activities, and contributing to the development of social media campaigns that raise awareness of the project's objectives and results among younger audiences;
Maintaining contact databases for project networking and dissemination purposes.
Other information:
Financial support of: 34.60 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Athens, Greece.
Start and duration: July, for 6 months.
Languages*: English (C1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
