Support youth policies for rural sustainable development.
Galicia Europa Foundation is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “RuralYouthFuture - Improving the role of youth policies for rural sustainable development", under the Programme Interreg Europe.
The objective of the Interreg project "RuralYouthFuture" is to enhance the efficacy of youth employment policies for sustainable rural development.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Support in carrying out activities such as meeting of stakeholders, preparation of the study visit of partners to Galicia;
Support in the dissemination of project results and products;
Support in the organisation of events and participation;
Support in the communication of activities and dissemination of project results and products, including the preparation of content for the project newsletter, articles, publications on social networks, videos, organisation of events and participation;
Comunicate entrepreneurial projects in the region and address the problems of young people who do not find support for their ideas and plans;
Monitoring the participation of the identified projects and entrepreneurs to ensure a real impact on their career and evolution.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29.00 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Start and duration: July, for 6 months.
Languages*: Spanish (C2), Galician (C2), English (C1).
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
