IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme "Lithuania-Poland"
Support the communication, visibility and outreach of cross-border cooperation achievements between Lithuania and Poland.
The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Lithuania-Poland is looking for an IVY volunteer!
Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland Programme is a cross-border cooperation initiative that supports sustainable development and improves the quality of life in border regions of Lithuania and Poland through joint projects and partnerships. It focuses on enhancing environmental wellbeing, cultural and social inclusion, local stakeholder cooperation and better connectivity across the border area. The programme funds collaborative actions that protect nature, promote health and tourism, strengthen local capacities and improve cross-border transport and services. It brings together institutions and communities from both countries to address common challenges and opportunities.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:
Supporting the preparation and dissemination of communication content related to Programme-funded projects and cooperation achievements;
Drafting news articles, success stories, interviews and other content for the Programme website and communication channels;
Regular updating of the Programme website, including publishing news, events and other relevant information;
Contributing to the preparation of communication materials, such as newsletters, infographics, presentations, promotional publications and social media content;
Supporting the organisation and promotion of Programme events, information sessions, annual events and other communication activities, both online and in person;
Assisting in the collection of project results, good practices and beneficiary stories for communication and visibility purposes;
Monitoring communication activities and preparing summaries of outreach results and audience engagement;
Contributing ideas for innovative communication approaches, particularly those aimed at engaging young people and increasing awareness of European territorial cooperation.
Other information:
Financial support of: 29.92 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Start and duration: Starting in August, for 6 months.
Deadline for application: 5 July.
Languages*: English (C1). Knowledge of Lithuanian and/or Polish is an asset.
*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.

How we support you

Financial support
Every volunteer receives a stipend to cover expenses for food and accommodation. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 23 to 39 EUR per day.

Insurance
IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience.

Contribution to travel costs
Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km.
