IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "GOOD CITIES"
Support developing innovative sharing economy services in Europe.
Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “GOOD CITIES - Cities stimulating new shared economy services for consumer goods in urban environments", under the Programme Interreg Europe.
The objective of the Interreg project "GOOD CITIES" is to suppor public authorities in developing policies that promote the sharing and reuse of consumer goods as part of the circular economy. The project addresses the challenge of underused household items—such as tools, leisure equipment and home appliances—which contribute to unnecessary resource consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and waste despite being used only occasionally.
Through interregional cooperation, partners exchange good practices, engage local stakeholders and improve regional policy instruments to strengthen the role of cities in the sharing economy.
The volunteer will support CluBE in implementing the GOOD CITIES project, particularly the Toy Library pilot in Kozani. The volunteer will:
Assist in organising and promoting public events, workshops and awareness activities;
Support communication activities, including social media, website updates, newsletters and dissemination materials;
Help engage citizens, families, schools and local stakeholders in the Toy Library and other sharing initiatives;
Contribute to monitoring and documenting pilot activities by collecting feedback, preparing summaries and supporting the evaluation of project results;
Research and share inspiring examples of sharing economy initiatives from their home country and across Europe.
